10) Ramesh Powar
Some of you might know him & some might not know him but those who know him they would get back to there childhood. This guy has played 32 one days & 2 test matches for India. To reach that stage he has worked very hard after his mother's death he was raised by his sister but then also he faced so hardship & criticism because of his overweight(body-shaming). But when he got selected for Indian team he as well as his sister got emotional & cried.
9) Umesh Yadav
The first thing he is my favorite bowler due to his run-up as when runs for bowling it looks like a deer is running, one of the fittest man in the Indian team as well as one of the fastest bowler for India. At first, he used to play Tennis cricket tournament his main aim was to serve for Indian police as he also tried to enter Indian army. But his life changed when he got selected for bowling trail then he completely focused on cricket. His dream was to buy a house for his father which was completed when he played for India.
8) Virendra Sehwag
Virendra Sehwag known as the Nawab of cricket was to live in a joint family of 50 peoples. His father had the business of wheat which he was thinking that Virendra Sehwag will take over but Sehwag had other plans. He admires Sachin Tendulkar as his idol & after the hard work he was playing(opening) with his idol. He is the only player who has scored two triple centuries for India.
7) Harbhajan Singh
The evergreen guy of Indian cricket known with third highest wicket taker in test cricket. And also known for his pranks also had the humble background. when he debuts for India he was not able to make an impact in Indian team so he was sidelined for three years from selection side. Between this, his father died then the responsibility of his family fall on his shoulder. That time he thought of going to Canada be a truck driver But after some time he got selected for Australia series & after that series, his life changed & India got one of the best off-spinners.
6) Mohammad Shami
Coming from a village of sahaspur the story of the fast bowler Mohammad Shami is most inspiring one, where his village had no ground for playing cricket & also there was no electricity for more than 8 hours. When he got selected for the club at Kolkata he had no money to pay his rent so he used to stay with his coach.
5) Vinod Kambli
Everyone knows the biggest partnership between him & Sachin Tendulkar but no one knew he used to live in a room with his other 18 family members in a chawl. His father was a mechanic who used to earn 500 Rs a month he has also loot someone for his bat, but after his partnership, he got 200 Rs per month.
4) Sir Ravindra Jadeja
One of the talented guys in Indian team also known for his rocket throw & for his talwar baazi. one time he was so demotivated he thought of leaving the cricket. His father was a security guard it was difficult to run the house but his mother was very supportive when Jadeja lost his mother back in 2005 he thought that he will not able to play cricket again. His sister used to work so he can play cricket & when his under-19 team won the world cup every player got 15 lakh Rs so thereafter he went on to play free & big.
3) Zaheer Khan
The guy who invented the knuckleball which is used by all bowlers in today's cricket. After Kapil Dev, he is the only player who has 300+ wickets in test cricket. He used to live with his aunt who worked as a helper at the hospital after some time she was not able to pay for his expenses aunt. so his coach helped him to find a part-time job by which he can pay his expenses. His coach revealed that he used to sleep with only one mattress in a small room & come to practice without breakfast. After his hard work, he was able to play for India & lead Indian side for years.
2) Pathan Brothers
These guys had a pure determination they had no house to live they used to live in a mosque then they bought a house which had only one room. Their father revealed that his son had no shoes so he used to buy second-hand shoes from Friday market & stitched them himself.
1) Munaf Patel
Coming from a small village of Gujrat his story is most inspiring his father used to work at a construction site & due to poverty Munaf Patel used to work at Tile factory as child labor for which he used to get 35 Rs. Munaf was known for his fast bowling in his village but due to lack of money, he played only Tennis ball cricket like Umesh Yadav. In a village tournament, one guy saw his bowling & buy him shoes & help him to get in MRF-Pace foundation where he was coached by Dennis Lee After the hard work he played 2011 World cup & took 11 wickets in the tournament.
