Kerala Floods: Here's how much Sachin Tendulkar donated to the Kerala Relief Fund


Kerala is battling to stand on its toes since last few weeks, owing to wrath of nature. Most of the state is under the water and the rescue operations are in full swing. More than 350 have lost their lives while 3 lakh have been shifted to various relief camps. Several celebrities including cricketers have come forward and even urged their fans to donate as much as they can do. Sachin Tendulkar, the former Indian skipper and one of the best cricketers in the history of cricket, has lent a helping hand for the people of the state and has won hearts.

According to reports, Sachin has contributed Rs 10 Lakhs to the relief funds and has set an example for other cricketers. The news of his contribution was revealed by one of his fans pages. He had earlier requested everyone to support Kerala.

“Prayers are always good but in times of dire need and suffering we all can do more. Right now the victims and families of the #KeralaFloods need our help. Let’s show them that we #StandWithKerala. Even a small contribution to Kerala’s #CMDRF would go a long way. @CMOKerala,” he had tweeted.
